What a delightful guest we had at our Rotary lunch meeting today, David Brian. His is a member of Ridgetown Rotary Club.
David is a retired teacher who spent 34 years teaching at the International Schools in China. Of those years, 29 were spent in Hong Kong and 5 years on the mainland.
He shared one of his cherished experiences in a live presentation. It was a 4.5 day trip with his class on the Grand Canal. The trip took them between two cities located on the Canal and most notably, it was the first such trip for students allowed by the government. Remarkable!
